Home Watch

Do you need someone to watch/monitor your home while you are away? Meet Repairmen and contractors there to complete work while you are out of town or unavailable? Let Palmetto Concierge help make your life a little easier.

We will be your eyes and ears while you’re away, giving you peace of mind that your home is in good hands. We will monitor your home and keep you up to date. We’ll meet any vendors or contractors at your house, prepare it for your departure and arrival, assist you in the case of storms or emergencies; and because we hold a key; even let you in if you ever lock yourself out! Packages for Home Watch Services  can be customized whether the need to monitor your property is once a week or  once a month. We will work with you to create a package  that fits your individual  needs!

Key Holder  - Emergency Response Services

We provide a key holding service and Emergency Response Service for our clients.  If you get locked out of your home at any time, or a guest in your home is locked out, they may call us and we will come and let them in. There is a $65.00 charge for this service. Also please let your alarm company know that we are a key holder service not a security company. (there will be additional surcharges after 10 pm)

Interior and Exterior Checklist

  • Inspect for signs of theft, vandalism, damage or other disturbance

  • Check that all windows and entryways are secure

  • Take sample humidity readings

  • Manually check alarm systems, smoke and CO2 detectors & electrical systems

  • Check breaker box

  • Visual inspection of walls, ceilings, windows, tubs, showers for evidence of water damage, leakage, mold, mildew or pests

  • Check that thermostat is set at correct temperature

  • Check that freezers & refrigerators are working

  • Visual check of heating system and hot water heater

  • Note any unusual odors

  • Inspection and or remove small debris (dead bugs, etc.)

  • Other items as outlined in customized home watch checklist

  • Ensure all entrances are secure

  • Check exterior lights 

  • Visual check for evidence of forced entry, vandalism, theft or damage

  • Visually check outside faucets for leaks

  • Removal of newspapers, flyers, packages, mail and other evidence of non-occupancy

  • ​Visual inspection of roof & gutters from the ground and visual inspection of yard, landscaping, siding, walls and fencing

  • Other items as outlined in customized home watch checklist
